Half Day Essential Update

Auto-enrolment commenced in October 2012 with very large employers being the first to “stage”. We are now three years down the line and the first employers to stage have already completed their automatic re-enrolment duties. Medium sized employers will be starting to consider their obligations to automatically re-enrol.

However, legislation and changes made by the Pensions Regulator mean the jobs of automatic enrolment and re-enrolment have changed somewhat.

This course covers:

  • The easements introduced by the Pensions Act 2014, and
  • A summary of the obligations placed on employers in considering Automatic Re-enrollment
  • The changes to automatic enrolment – one of the main criticisms of automatic enrolment was the massively complex burden placed on employers. This course takes delegates through the changes introduced by the 2014 Pensions Act
  • Employers duties under automatic re-enrolment – To comply with legislation, employers must follow the procedures for Automatic Re-enrolment or suffer penalties. This course takes delegates through their obligations to ensure they are compliant with those obligations

This half day course will ensure employers are fully up to date with these changes.
